Users rave about the exceptional brightness of this powerful little light as well as its long battery life. The light features steady or blinking modes, and will run on two AAA batteries for up to 200 hours.p Super convenient and easy to use, the light has two mounting options--a clip for the seat post or a clip for a rear-side strut. The clip can also be attached to a bag or clothing so you can use it for night walking as well as riding. Easy to detach from the seat post mount, the light is small enough to fit into a pocket or small bag if you need to take it with you. Altogether, the Blinky is an economical choice that offers long-lasting visibility for night riding and lots of convenience.p strongWhat's in the Box?/strongbr Planet Bike Blinky Bicycle light, seatpost mount, seatstay mount, two AAA batteriesp strongAbout Planet Bike/strongbr In November 1996, Planet Bike was founded in Madison, WI. In many ways, Planet Bike began as a social experiment that dedicated itself to doing business in a different way. Instead of being just another company that develops and sells products with profit as its end goal, Planet Bike wanted to help bring about positive change for people, their communities, and the environment.p Despite being a simple machine, the people at Planet Bike have always believed that the bicycle has great potential to help improve the world and the lives of the people in it. From the start, they have embraced an alternative corporate purpose which seeks to help get more people on bicycles by making communities friendlier places for the self-propelled. By donating 25% of company profits to causes that promote and facilitate bicycle usage, Planet Bike hopes to make an impact.p Social experiments aside, Planet Bike was born from the heart of a cyclist with a goal of making innovative, high-quality, and practical bicycle accessories. Simply put, the company strives to design and develop the best bicycle products in the world. In the company's short 10-year history, it has made important product innovations within the bicycle industry. Advancements include the four-line computer which is now a standard in the industry and the world's first self-contained HID light. Not bad for a company that 10 years ago started as a one-man operation. Today, while still a small company, Planet Bike continues to evolve and improve its product line with the goal of always striving to build accessories that make it easier for people to ride their bikes. Since 1996, Planet Bike's financial support of the grassroots bicycle movement has totaled $500,000. By 2010, they have made a goal to donate $1 million to organizations that are dedicated to making America a friendlier place for cyclists.br

4 out of 5 stars Very bright, great value   September 7, 2010

I get comments on how bright this light is, which is the goal. Replace batteries frequently to keep it cranking.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent red light   August 31, 2010

Bought two of these for daughters electric razor scooters. Very bright and easy to see, these flash or stay on constant. They definitely improve the visibility of the kids at night.

Great light. Survived a snowy winter and lots of rain storms over the past two years. Still working well.

The light is great! It's bright, reliable, and easy to understand. Also great to take off when you don't want to abandon your light.

5 out of 5 stars Great quality!   August 12, 2010
Cameron (Newport News, VA United States)
Simply cannot be beaten for [...] bucks. br / br /I keep mine on the seatpost, where it can be easily turned on and off without dismounting. Cargo on my rear rack blocks it from view, however, so in that event I just unclip it from the mount and strap it to my rear reflector with some bands of rubber cut out of an old innertube.
