4 out of 5 stars Great Seat for the price!!   September 6, 2010
Dustin (Champaign, IL USA)
This seat was a life saver. The stock seats that come with most bikes are absolutely horrible. This seat is a great solution to those who want something more comfortable but don't want to shell out a lot of money. I was a little hesitant what it would look like especially for the price. Once I got it and installed (which was very easy) I couldn't believe I didn't do this earlier. br / br /The only thing from making it perfect was the fact that it could be a little softer. Other than that it is a huge improvement over the standard seat that comes with most bikes.

5 out of 5 stars Well made and comfortable   August 2, 2010

This is an excellent value. Well made, cushy without being soft and and feels as if it will wear and last a long time. Other larger format cushioned seats can interfere with pedaling but the cut on this allows for comfort in the saddle and freedom when you are up on the pedals. Schwinn is still a great brand.....thankfully.

5 out of 5 stars Really Nice Seat!   July 29, 2010
S. Horton (Ohio)
Really glad I picked this seat to replace my original hard as a rock seat. Riding my bike is so much more enjoyable. The seat is nice and comfortable, yet sturdy. If you are looking for a nice comfortable, cushy seat, this seat is for you.

5 out of 5 stars Must Have Seat for Long Riders   July 15, 2010

I just recently started riding to and from work on a bike and my first experience was a painful one. I was riding a Trek Mountain bike with the standard seat. Add into the mix that I'm about 6'2 and weigh about 230 lbs. (one of the reasons I began riding)and I carry about a 40 lbs. pack on my back (school items and God knows what else) and you can probably tell I had one painful ride (about 8.5 miles each way). After two days of riding on the standard Trek seat my groin area went numb and I decided it was time to get a quality seat. This seat is very inexpensive and made my ride A LOT more enjoyable! br / br /It's pretty easy to install, but if you're not comfortable working on your bike and you want to play it safe I'd recommend you take it to a bike shop and let the pros handle it. However, this is not necessary because it really is pretty simple to install. I used two sets of pliers on mine and it has been secure since. br / br /One thing I am concerned about, more because it is annoying rather than unsafe, is that my seat squeaks a good bit when I lean forward on it. This could be because I am on the heavier side right now, but it's good to know in case you're around my weight. br / br /Overall, I'm very happy with this seat. The price is low and the quality is high. I highly recommend this seat to anyone traveling long distances. For the price, it's absolutely worth a try. br / br /
